NWAMOTC Outreach

Each year, NWAMOTC provides funds or other means of support for charitable organizations. Our Northwest members are extraordinarily generous.

Member clubs donate funds to allow NWAMOTC to continue its outreach program.

The Jackie Marriott Benevolent Fund helps some of our families with financial need. Those awars are kept confidential, but we now those recipients are grateful because of the generous nature of our members.

Annual Recipient: SPEAR

In April 2009, NWAMOTC awarded its annual charitable donation award of $300 to the Hope Chest Ministries of Spokane (Wash.).

Hope Chest provides hope, grace, mercy and services to women in need. Established in July 2003, they accept all women into their programs. Services are provided on a sliding scale or pro-bono basis upon individual needs. They offer help with attorneys, careers, clinics, clothing, counseling, education, food, housing, outreach and workshops. They rely solely on private donations and grants

Miracle Bonus, one of our member clubs based in Spokane, adopted Hope Chest for its 2008-09 outreach project.

Call for Donations and Suggestions

Requests to help families in need can be made anytime throughout the year. Get the form from your delegates or the forms section of this site.

The charitable donation is given at NWAMOTC's annual convention. The committee can make up to three awards at convention. Please think about the organizations in your community and turn in a form before the next convention to Gloria Anaka.

Just a reminder: donations to the Jackie Marriott Benevolent Fund will be accepted throughout the year. However, to be sure that we take care of those in desperate need of assistance, we must rely on your due diligence in this matter. Without your help, we might not know of a family in crisis -- there are those that will need financial help. Let's "be there" for our families in need. Most often, these are the families that reach out and help others whenever a need arises. All requests remain confidential. The form is available from our Committee members, through your club Delegates, and on the NWAMOTC website.

Also, your club can choose an organization in your area. The JMBF Charitable Donation form can be filled out by your club, and needs to be submitted to the JMBF chairmom at least one or two months before Convention. It's a great way for us to give back to our communities and to help them out as well.

If you have any questions, call Gloria at 360-794-6241. Enjoy the upcoming holiday season!
