Through the generosity of our member clubs, NWAMOTC is able to provide funds and support for charitable organizations each year, in addition to funding scholarships and awards for individual members and their families.

2009 Annual Recipient: SPEAR

The NWAMOTC charitable donation is awarded annually at convention, and the committee can confer up to three awards. Any club can nominate an organization in their area before the next convention to Gloria Anaka.

In April 2009, NWAMOTC awarded its annual charitable donation award of $300 to the Hope Chest Ministries of Spokane (Wash.).

The Hope Chest Ministries of Spokane provides hope, grace, mercy and services to women in need. Established in July 2003, they accept all women into their programs. Services are provided on a sliding scale or pro-bono basis upon individual needs. They offer help with attorneys, careers, clinics, clothing, counseling, education, food, housing, outreach and workshops. They rely solely on private donations and grants

Miracle Bonus, one of our member clubs based in Spokane, adopted Hope Chest for its 2008-09 outreach project.

Jackie Marriott Benevolent Fund Harding-Stewart MAC Award

The JMBF Harding-Stewart MAC Award helps some of our families in times of financial need. Donations to the Award are accepted throughout the year, and requests to help families in need can be submitted anytime via your club delegate.

To be sure that we take care of those in desperate need of assistance, we must rely on your help to notify us of a family in crisis. All requests remain confidential.

The JMBF Harding-Stewart MAC Award Donation form can be filled out by your club, but must to be submitted to the JMBF chairmom at least one or two months before Convention.
